Safeguarding Training
If you’re a volunteer in a ministry that requires a Blue Card or Police Check, thank you for all you do!
To keep up with the recent changes in Safeguarding Legislation it is a mandatory requirement for Blue Card and Police Check holders to renew their training every two years.
For anyone who isn’t able to complete the preferred online training through Arch-elearn, the Maroochydore Parish Safeguarding Team is offering face-to-face training, 9:45am (right after the 9.00 am Mass) Friday, 27th March at Stella Maris Church. This will take place in the Annex with duration of approximately 1 hour.
To register, email to the Parish Office, sa*******************@**************et.au.
Your parish family is looking to build community through the service of many ministries.
Volunteers are not just the 'mortar' that holds our parish together but it is a practical and rewarding way of living out our faith.
Joining a ministry is about feeding each other and nourishing ourselves in the mental, physical, emotional, and of course, spiritual. We participate in ministry that eventually we might participate in the mission. The mission is to go out beyond the walls of the Church to nourish others and give them a taste of what we experience within the Church. Ministry and mission go hand-in-hand and we need both to keep our faith alive.
Join us today with one of the many ministries within the Parish as we, together, continue on the journey of faith.
