Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
Known colloquially as Becoming a Catholic, the RCIA is a process by which the candidate journeys deeper into understanding Being a Catholic. We all have different journeys in life, and God takes us down different paths of discovery and self-discovery. The RCIA Process accepts the candidate from their starting point and endeavors to awaken a Catholic sensibility. A Catholic worldview appreciates the nuances of Tradition and time in the unfolding of Revelation. This Revelation is sustained and nurtured by the reception of God's grace through the Sacraments.
