The Annual Catholic Campaign is almost here!

The 2024 Annual Catholic Campaign will be held on the 20th Sunday in Ordinary Time on the weekend of 17-18 August 2024 this year!

It is the one time every year that all of the parishes in the Archdiocese come together to help vital works of our church and the local community, which include supporting the training of our future priests, caring for our elderly, and supporting families impacted by domestic violence, to name a few.

The Campaign is one very concrete sign of the mercy of God at work, entering the world of wrong relationship and setting it aright, breaking down the walls of “us and them” and building bridges so that all people, but especially those most in need, can take their place in the house of God.

The 2024 Annual Catholic Campaign reminds us that we are part of the larger Church. When we work together, we support vital ministries and services, and we accomplish what we cannot do alone. Your support helps our retired and infirm priests, who have dedicated their lives to meet the needs of your community. Through your gift, you ensure these men have a home and access to basic healthcare once they step out of active ministry. We invest in our seminarians, and to also ensure the future of our faith.

Your support will enables students from families who are struggling financially to receive a Catholic education so that they can taste the fullness of life. You help them flourish despite life’s hardships; and lastly but not least, your gift to support ministries within Centacare provides support for victims of domestic violence and the homeless, care for families in strife, counselling for the troubled, chaplaincy in hospitals and ministry in prisons.

Mercy flows from Jesus through us.  We come in faith, knowing that he listens and responds to real human need. We also know that he responds through our generosity. Your donation, whatever it may be, allows the Lord’s mercy to flow through the Church into the lives of needy human beings.

It is the one time a year that all of the parishes in the Archdiocese come together to help vital works of our church and the local community.
Funds raised will support ministries that directly impact this parish. Please do take a Campaign brochure and giving envelope or donate now below.
