Get Ready to make a difference!

The 2024 Annual Catholic Campaign is a fortnight away, giving you the opportunity to make a difference and support families impacted by violence, homelessness, family breakdown and other vital ministries, which help us flourish despite life’s hardships.

Held one time every year across all parishes in the Archdiocese, this year the 20th Sunday in Ordinary Time (17-18 August 2024), will provide a once-a-year opportunity to support vital Church works in our local community, including training of our future priests and caring for our elderly.

The Annual Catholic Campaign reminds us that we are part of the larger Church. Your support helps our retired and infirm priests, who have dedicated their lives to meet the needs of your community. Through your gift, you ensure these men have a home and access to basic healthcare once they step out of active ministry. We invest in our seminarians, and to also ensure the future of our faith. It supports families who are struggling financially to receive a Catholic education and helps Centacare continue to deliver help for victims of domestic violence, families in strife, counselling for the troubled and chaplaincy in hospitals and prisons.

The Campaign is one very concrete sign of the mercy of God at work, entering the world of wrong relationship and setting it aright, breaking down the walls of “us and them” and building bridges so that all people, but especially those most in need, can take their place in the house of God. Your donation, whatever it may be, allows the Lord’s mercy to flow through the Church into the lives of needy human beings.

Please do take a Campaign brochure and giving envelope or donate now below.
